Lady G (Gladiola Mistwallow-Tinsley) hosts an annual soiree around Christmastime for women she has met along the way that are doing great things in their second lives. She asked me to build the venue for her. This project tapped into several services provided by reEMagined SpaceS including decor, venue building, landscaping, custom mesh, and textures for starters. The main rule: NO SANTA ALLOWED! I understood the assignment and accepted the challenge.

♦ A message from Lady G:

"Soirée, pronounced "swah-RAY," is a French word. Soir means "evening" in French, and soirée is literally an "evening party."

I recently hosted my 2nd Annual Holiday Soirée and invited some of SL's most talented, funny, and beautiful Ladies on the grid!

It's not often I get one-on-one time with these awesome women as we all have full and interesting SL lives. I normally fan-girl them from afar, admiring their designs, energy, and vibe. This year, instead of my home, I wanted to celebrate them in a special venue. I called upon my Sis, Emerald Ishtari to execute my vision of a cozy winter wonderland. Emerald delivered!

Upon arrival, guests (dressed in their festive jammies) entered a glass gazebo pavilion as it snowed outside. Quaint tables scattered the room with a full buffet, Isaac bartending all night long and holiday tunes played overhead. For those that know me, I included Da Grinch in my affair… we played a boisterous game of “Grinch-ionary" and took a group photo. Emerald even created a portal for all of the guests to travel to Whoville to meet Da Grinch himself!

If I had the prims, I would keep this venue forever! Thanks, Emerald, you’re an incredible Sis, designer, blogger, builder, photographer, and much much more!"

Lady G had her own "GRINCHY" throne of honor in the center of the venue.
